Hello,

My career path has been interesting and challenging. In 1989, I took my first job at the age of seventeen working with adults with disabilities. I really enjoyed knowing I was making a difference in another person's life and worked in this field for four years.

In 1999, I took a full-time job at a public school district as a paraprofessional II. This is when I first knew my life endevour would be to teach children. It was not easy raising two children and working full-time, but seven years later, I earned my Associates Degree. Another three years later, I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies with honors at Chapman University.

In my free time I like to spend as much time as I can with my family. My family is very important to me. I like to go camping, trout fishing, hiking, dirt bike riding, singing, dancing, reading, writing, scrap booking, and creation storytelling. My passion has been to educate teaching staff, parents, students, and community in American Indian history and culture for the last twelve years.
